Make the page fit your eyes.
Use browser zoom to read comfortably without changing your display settings.
Change the page, not your posture.
If a page makes you lean toward the screen, try zooming before accepting the strain. Browser zoom changes the size of page content. Text, images, and layout may all grow together.
In Chrome’s menu, find Zoom and use the plus button to increase it. You can also use Ctrl and + on Windows or Linux, or Command and + on a Mac. Increase it a step at a time rather than jumping straight to a very large setting.

Watch the layout respond.
As the available space gets tighter, a well-designed page may stack columns or move navigation into a menu. That is expected: the content needs to fit at its new size. Zoom changes more than the apparent size of letters.
To return to the default, use Ctrl+0 or Command+0, or set the Zoom value back to 100% in the menu. You do not need to remember how many times you pressed plus. Different pages can have different comfortable settings.
Zoom in → read a paragraph → adjust Reset: Ctrl+0 / Command+0
Make it yours.
- Open a text-heavy page.
- Increase browser zoom by two steps and read a paragraph.
- Reset to 100%, then choose the size you prefer.
What changed when you tried it?
A little nudge
Use the browser’s Zoom control; changing your monitor resolution is a separate setting.
What to look for
The page content grows as zoom increases. Reset returns the page to its default scale.
Take it one small step further
Try the same page in a narrower window and notice how its layout changes.
Comfortable reading is a setting you can adjust.
